    Right Wing Religious Ecologies

The Right Wing Religious Ecologies working group brings together scholars from multiple disciplines to explore the intersections of religion, right wing movements and ecology. Within the field of religion and nature, the bulk of scholarship has focused on drawing scholars' attention to environmental perceptions and activism associated with left wing or a-political religious groups and movements. Complementary to this valuable research are studies on the religious ecologies of Christian nationalist and other religious right wing movements, which are currently on the rise in the United States. We aim to map relationships between right wing movements, religion, and environmentalism, with the aim of producing a special issue or edited volume exploring these themes.
